Welcome to Virtual Bizniz! Virtual Bizniz was created to expand the presence of Small Businesses in Iowa, primarily the Small Town, and Rural Businesses that many young professionals remember from back home, but may not be able to reach to patronize those businesses due to the limited hours. If those businesses had a site on the internet that they could reach at times beyond normal business hours, either via e-mail, or through online ordering, those businesses could expand the reach, not just beyond their community, but among community members as well. Therefore, our focus is to create community sites for commercial clubs and chambers to aid in tourism and business profitability.
Our MissionTo become a recognized name as a provider of affordable website design and hosting for Small Businesses, including those in rural parts of Iowa.
Company ProfileBecause we are able to concentrate on basic design with use of templates, and also, hosting via space that we purchase in larger quantities through another source, we have lower overhead costs than most competitors, allowing more businesses to afford websites. We began our operation focusing on businesses for whom we work and do frequent business with, and are expanding beyond those at this time. Virtual Bizniz was founded by Becky Venneman, with assistance from her husband, Brent Venneman. Becky Venneman is certified as a CMA: Certified Management Accountant, and SPHR: Senior Professional in Human Resource Management. Becky has a Master of Science in Business Administrative Sciences, and a Bachelor of Business Administration in Accounting from Iowa State University. Becky has been trained in website design, and has created and maintained sites for organizations in the past. Becky has taken training classes in Adobe Acrobat and Microsoft FrontPage from New Horizons Computer Training. Brent has a Bachelor of Science in Biology from Briar Cliff College. He is currently a student at DMACC in Biotechnology, and has also completed an AAS degree in Medical Lab Technology, and a CNA course at DMACC to utilize his Biology skills in the healthcare field. He has been trained on computer imaging software, and is an experienced photographer. His areas of training include Adobe Illustrator, Adobe Photoshop, and Macromedia Flash.
